Store and share files by means of email.
OpenP2M allows us to make use of a
new way to share files, using the space that we obtain from electronic mail accounts to upload the files and allow their
download by other users.
This software, developed in Java, is capable of connecting to accounts from the most important web mail services, among which we will be to find
Google and Yahoo!, even though it is possible to use it with any POP3 service.
How it works is very simple, once
connected to the account that shares data, the program will show us each file as a single one, even though the organization that we could see in the inbound tray may have been totally different. Thus, it is possible to have a file that is divided into different parts (because the mails have a size limit) and nevertheless,
to be able to download it as if it were a single one.
Since we have to connect to electronic mail on purpose,
OpenP2M will allow us to save our favorites those that have provided us with most interesting results, thus we will be able to see when they have uploaded new contents to download.
Requirements: This
download requires a ZIP compatible compressor.
